Between Us
What we build in the space between.
Stories, letters, and ways to show up for each other — the parts of this project that only exist because people were willing to be honest with each other.

I Thought Strength Meant Silence
I thought the strongest thing I could do was carry it alone. It took me a long time, and a lot of quiet exhaustion, to understand that wasn't strength — it was just isolation wearing strength's clothes. I left something here almost a year ago, anonymously, with no plan for anyone to respond. Someone wrote back anyway. I still have the letter. I'm not the same person who wrote that first one.
The Letter I Didn't Expect to Send
I wrote it at 2am, certain I'd delete it by morning. I've written a hundred things like it before and deleted every one. This time I didn't, and I still don't fully know why. What I got back wasn't advice. It was just someone telling me they'd read it, carefully, and that it mattered that I'd written it. That was enough to matter more than I expected.
What My Team Taught Me About Asking for Help
I was so sure that admitting I wasn't okay would change how my team saw me. It didn't, not in the way I feared. If anything, two other guys told me afterward they'd been feeling something similar and hadn't said anything either. None of us fixed anything that day. We just stopped pretending in front of each other, which turned out to be most of what we needed.
